Elope Ireland was created because we believed there was a better way to do weddings – less stress, just as beautiful, more customization. We don’t believe in going into massive debt just to say, “I do.”

Jon-Paul Brown

Founder/Co-Owner

Jon-Paul started his destination elopement planning business in November of 2010 while planning his own wedding. His was “only” going to have about 50 guests, but the budget and stress both went through the roof. He dreamed of a wedding experience that was beautiful, fun, yet inexpensive and stress-free. He decided to create that experience for others, and the business took off! He and his wife Heather have since had twin girls (in 2013) and currently live just outside of Asheville, North Carolina. He spends his spare time planning his own globetrotting adventures!

Ríona Cleary

Wedding Day Planner/Coordinator

Ríona is your wedding planner, coordinator and your local point of contact while you’re in Ireland. Riona has been working with Elope Ireland since 2016 and has years experience in the wedding industry and a first class honours degree in business with event management. Ríona will be working with you to help plan all of the details, answer any questions, and make your day as stress free as possible so you can get the most out of your wedding day with us.

Amanda Berk

Co-Owner

Amanda is co-owner of Elope Ireland and is the director of photography. She has been a professional photographer since 2008. She has a keen eye and is skilled at finding the perfect photographer for your day.

Elisa Jacobs

Travel and Wedding Coordinator

Elisa Jacobs-Thompson is an Asheville, North Carolina-based Elope Ireland coordinator who works with couples to help design the day of their dreams. Elisa responds to initial inquiries, offers information about our exclusive elopement packages, and helps couples customize their budget-friendly big day. With over a decade of experience in customer service and support in roles ranging from cosmetics to higher education admissions, Elisa is a passionate people-person. She loves hearing (love) stories and helping to craft the perfect day for your "I Dos!" Mom to two beautiful little boys, outside of work Elisa spends time looking up kiddo crafts on Pinterest, listening to truck tunes, and reading books ten times in a row. She loves spending time with her family, renovating their 1930s home, and daydreaming about a full night's sleep.
